Ohrid

Canyon Matka

Krusevo

Kruševo, located in the heart of the country, is a historic city in North Macedonia, known for its rich cultural and political heritage. It is also renowned for being the birthplace of the Ilinden Uprising, a significant event in the country’s struggle for independence. 

Kruševo is also known as the highest city on the Balkans, with an altitude of over 1,500 meters above sea level. The city offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and visitors can take advantage of its many outdoor activities, including hiking, skiing, and horseback riding. Despite its small size, Kruševo has a rich cultural heritage, and visitors can explore its many museums, art galleries, and monuments, which pay homage to the city’s history and its contributions to the country’s independence.
